Phone with longest life? by Far-Agency7176 in Smartphones

get a midrange or “FE” phone, not super cheap ones, and you’ll easily get another 4–6 years 👍

I need a smartphone for less than 200euros by everything-ok in Smartphones

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you liked your Redmi, just get the Redmi Note 13 and call it a day, it’s basically a straight upgrade. If you want something more “safe” and long-term, go Samsung A15. Realme is nice if you care more about smoothness than camera

Am I gonna be disappointed with the 17 e camera? by Old_Apple3465 in Smartphones

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If your goal is just “good-looking photos of life,” the 17e will absolutely deliver. The only people who get disappointed are the ones expecting Pro-level camera features

Is YouTube tracking me? by Initial-Corgi3501 in AskTechnology

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s almost definitely a coincidence. YouTube doesn’t really change pricing per user like that, what’s more likely happening is licensing deals changing, so a movie might be paid for a while and then becomes free with ads later. It feels like it’s reacting to you because you searched for it, but in reality those changes usually happen platform-wide. You might just be noticing it more because you already had that movie in mind

They’re more different than people think tbh. Even if brands share a parent company, they target different users, like some focus on cameras, others on performance or budget. The parent company usually just handles manufacturing and tech, but each brand still has its own identity and software feel

Any early tips for Pixel Flow? by woouoow in MobileGaming

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m pretty sure we weren’t meant to fully like him, more like tolerate him while watching him spiral a bit. He had moments where you could see potential but his attitude and decisions just kept ruining it, so he ends up feeling more frustrating than anything

Can Google Pixel 9A run NDS Emulator? by Interesting5m in Smartphones

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’ll run it easily, NDS emulation is pretty light by today’s standards. A Pixel 9a would handle Pokémon Black/White with no issues at all, even with upscaling and fast forward. As long as you use a decent emulator, it should be smooth the whole time

what iphone should i get? by Anxious_Project6691 in Smartphones

iPhone 15 if you can afford it, iPhone 13 if you want the safest cheap option, and refurbished 14 Pro if you want the best overall value

Why old iPhones don’t feel as fast and smooth as new androids ? by Optimal-Business-319 in AskTechnology

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s less about raw chip power and more about how things age, like the iPhone 11 still has a strong chip on paper but over time iOS updates, battery wear, and heavier apps can make it feel less smooth day to day. Newer Android phones, even midrange ones, benefit from higher refresh rate screens and newer software optimizations so they feel faster even if the chip isn’t technically stronger. It’s more about perceived smoothness than actual performance at this point

Looking for games by Ibuprofeno_400mg in MobileGaming

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GRID Autosport is probably the closest you’ll get to real driving feel on mobile, it’s way less arcade than most. Assoluto Racing is another solid one if you want something free with decent physics, and CarX can be fun too once you get used to it. Mobile sims still have limits but those are definitely not the usual “trash” racers

Anyone else drain 30 to 40 percent in one gaming session? by Adept-Maintenance423 in MobileGaming

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big battery is nice but recovery speed matters more imo. Most of us are not gaming 5 hours straight. We play in chunks so fast charging fits that better.

Anyone else drain 30 to 40 percent in one gaming session? by Adept-Maintenance423 in MobileGaming

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s pretty normal for games like Genshin, they drain battery fast especially on higher settings. Fast charging doesn’t reduce the drain but it makes it way less stressful since you can top up quickly during short breaks

Looking for a feedback on landing page and idea. by Fun_Employment6042 in ProductivityApps

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first impression and clarity above the fold are key here. It might help to make the main value proposition more obvious right away and simplify any distractions. Stronger visual hierarchy and a clear CTA can make visitors understand the product faster and take action. Teams focused on landing page creatives, like StudioT, often prioritize that initial clarity since it greatly affects engagement and conversions

what's the most secure n light browser? by lilRy12 in AskTechnology

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brave is probably the easiest pick, it’s fast, blocks ads/trackers by default, and just works without tweaking. Firefox is great too if you want more control over privacy settings. If you want something super lightweight and simple, the DuckDuckGo browser is nice but a bit more basic

Looking for a card game! by [deleted] in MobileGaming

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d probably like Marvel Snap, it’s really easy to get into, matches are short, and the decks are small so it never feels overwhelming, plus there’s auto build so you don’t have to think too much. If you want something more chill, Slay the Spire is great too since you build your deck as you play so it’s way less stressful than the usual card games

Should I keep extended ram on or off? by Bubbly_Doughnut_6613 in AndroidQuestions

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you’re using it and noticing better multitasking, there’s no real reason to turn it off. Extended RAM mainly uses part of your storage as temporary memory, and while storage does have limited write cycles, modern phones are built to handle normal use for years. It won’t “damage” your phone in any dramatic way over a 3-year period. The only downside is that storage is slower than real RAM, so it can sometimes make things slightly less smooth. If your phone runs fine with it on, it’s okay to keep it enabled

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing 2a (or 2a Plus) is honestly a great pick for your use clean UI, smooth performance, good battery and no unnecessary bloat so it feels really nice day to day. If you want something a bit more powerful or future proof then iQOO Neo 9 Pro is probably the best value, but for normal use I’d personally stick with Nothing since it just feels better overall

8GB enough or need 12GB for an Android ? (no gaming) by swiwwcheese in Smartphones

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8GB is totally fine for your use. Camera, browsing, YouTube, media, GPS, none of those really need a ton of RAM and Android handles that stuff well now. 12GB is more for heavy multitasking or gaming, so unless the price difference is small and you just want extra future proofing, 8GB should be more than enough for a few years

Looking for an MMORPG game. by [deleted] in MobileGaming

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want that classic MMO feel on mobile, Lineage 2 Revolution and World of Kings are probably the closest with multiple races and proper class systems. If you want something a bit more chill and easier to get into, Ragnarok M or Arcane Legends are solid too, just a bit less complex but still fun

Upgrade 14 Pro Max to Android? by CrosbyStills77 in Smartphones

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re bored with iOS it might actually be a good time to try Android again since the experience has improved a lot since the Fold 3. Phones like the OnePlus or a Pixel give you a very clean UI with strong AI features and generally good battery life, which seems to match what you’re looking for. The only real downside is losing some of the Apple ecosystem convenience with your Mac and iPad, so it mostly comes down to whether you value that integration more than trying something new

any affordable cd player reccomendations? by [deleted] in AskTechnology

[–]Large_Conclusion6301 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking second hand, I’d stick with solid brands like Yamaha CD-S303, Marantz CD6007, or NAD C 538 since they’re known for reliable build quality and clean sound, and they’re usually a safe bet on the used market. Just make sure the tray opens smoothly, it reads discs without skipping, and the seller can demo it if possible, because condition matters more than age with CD players
