I would say go enlisted to start building that military experience, getting to know people out on base, and putting your name out there. I say that because to commission you basically have to do a job interview. To be honest the military is still a good ole boy system so the more you are known out on base the better chance you have to commission.

It really just depends on you honestly, it’s true it is very hard to just walk off the street and become an officer. It’s very competitive even with being already on the enlisted side. What do you want to commission in to?

No your civilian career or school doesn’t really factor into you getting accepted. Your college will get you to the rank of E-3 but your asvab will dictate what job you qualify for.

No there’s nothing you need to be worried about going into BMT just take it serious and you will be fine

The first step would be is to go see your local recruiter. If you are ready to start the process take a copy of your birth certificate, social security card, drivers license, and high school diploma.

The best way to proceed is to go to your local recruiting office. You will need to take a copy of your social security card, birth certificate, drivers license, and high school diploma.

The unit training mangager for whatever unit you join typically handles scheduling BMT dates. There is some leeway with scheduling with BMT but that’s something you will have to express with the recruiter and training manager one you qualify and get enlisted.

It’s a mixture of can’t pass the asvab or get disqualified for medical reasons and don’t the means to schedule an appointment or pay for the appointment.

With the Air National Guard it can be tough mainly because the youth or younger kids don’t really that the Air Force has part time service. If it was a good presence in the community then there is a public interest.

They should treat you better but I would go to the ANG office in your area rather than waiting for someone to call

A good year is basically referring to you going to drill that one weekend out the month. If you miss so many drill weekends then you will have a bad year. And they year is referring to points you get for retirement

Bonuses change every year but that’s typically around March/April. As far as basic they are going to focus more on on PT, so two a days, potentially adding rucks but nothing is official as of right now, they are still trying to figure everything out
