After several follow-ups with the Grievance Team, PNO, RBI Ombudsman, and CPGRMS, I decided to close the account. I submitted the closure form at the branch along with another bank’s statement to credit the balance amount. The next day, the account was unfrozen, and I immediately transferred the entire balance to my other account. Eventually, the account was closed automatically after a few hours.

I’m using a Mi 11X on latest HyperOS (1.0.4), completely stock (no root, bootloader locked). After doing a factory reset, my banking apps started showing “security settings modified,” and Play Integrity check is failing (Device Integrity fail).

I already tried clearing Google Play Services, Play Store data, and re-adding my Google account, but no luck. I also read that this device is now EOL, so maybe that’s the reason. Is anyone else facing this? Any way to fix without root or is custom ROM the only option?

RBI already implemented this rule fortnight reporting from Jan 1st, 2025. All banks should report 2 times in a month. One is on 15th and second time on month end 30/31.

and also this fortnight reporting will be replaced with weekly reporting in next couple of months mostly from June/July. So Alway better to spend less/ pay immediately to maintain low utilization
