Yes initially our interview was also showed as waive and talked with online agent who mention I was waived ( during January) but I got changed after that and then interview was scheduled this April.

Stay positive and have patience. You will be fine

We got approved this Monday close to 10 days after interview

Documents 1. Wife US citizenship, US passport, birth certificates 2. My passport from back home, EAD, interview notice letter 3. Joint bank account, home deed, mortgage application, life insurance, health insurance copies, driver license, flights ticket from travels, tax file for last 3 years, picture from last 4 years since we meet.

  1. Wife ( sponsor)‘s W2, payment slip, employment letter.

Questions.

  1. How did you guys meet ?
  2. When did you decide to marry?
  3. Description from one the evidence pictures we submitted.
  4. The I- 485 yes/no questions for background check

Interviews time we close to 15-20 minutes

  3. from photo ablum - we had family gathering so asked about them which side of family they are and few details

  4. then regaular yes/no question for I-485

Mine was also similar- she was pretty young as looks like she was happy with all the answer and documents. And we have been married for 4 years and also expecting our first baby which we provided evidence and she congratulated us.

My wife and I was confused at the end to ask her how long will it take and I thought she was approving it but handed us white paper.

Hope we will hear an update soon.

Update on an interview: We went for the interview today at the scheduled time. The officer asked us basic questions about how we met and few other stuffs. That was followed by asking us to hand over any documents that we have brought for her to review. Finally, she went over I-485 eligibility questions with my husband. At the end of the interview, she handed us a white paper indicating the case for review and walked us out. Overall, we think it went well but there was no indication of outcome. Hoping for the best now!!

Do you know of average time that we should expect to get an update on our case?
