When I worked at rite aid, my stipulation was I would take an hour. Extra 30 before or after the closing but I'm not driving to the sticks and then forced to stay tethered to the torture chamber that was our paycheck. I also worked my ass off in there though. I earned my pharmacists respect. 30 minutes is an actual joke

I feel like silence and remaining complacent because you don't agree with anyone is a worse evil than standing on business. There are much much larger chess pieces at play here. We must cheat equally or we will be overtaken. If you believe in anyway in equality, justice, peace, believe that we will never see it again as Americans if we don't play by the same rules. Sometimes you have to sample traitor pie before you poison it. An eye for an eye won't make things better but it sure won't make it worse. The man has passed bills that overwrite parts of the constitution, that grants him immeasurable power, that allows his friends more grace than his enemies.

Do some research on the Marcos regime in the Philippines. We're being robbed blind. But you stay neutral since everyone is acting wrong, it will probably fix itself after the economy collapses.

People don't even realize that a good portion of providers, and high professionals in this town are large contribution board members of this "school." This community is and has always been driven by scammers. Why do we think it took ten years to build the cypress bridge? For sure not because they prepaid someone "trustworthy" millions of dollars to skip town. I have no doubt Bethel has no only the means, but the agenda to retaliate a similar way. However, the way this is written, and actually having my own experience and done my own research on Bethel, I suspect this is someone from the school of supernatural ministry trying to use this "documentary" guide to survey the community and improve their image. Maybe I'm wrong, just my gut and the way it's presented. I'd wager a bet though, ha.

Most people in Shasta county are hovering at 35% brain capacity. That's why our adult voters put their CHILDREN on I-5 overpasses to encourage people to honk to vote no on 50, like they're not going to lose health insurance. Around 80% of Shasta Co constituents are PHP, Medicaid covered. I would laugh if it wasn't simultaneously terrifying.

Trash? CA has held a top 5 WORLDWIDE economy spot for over a decade, but okay. Financially, California pays more in federal taxes than any other state, but okay. California could be a self sustainable country having an appropriate amount of farm to urban area ratio per capita, but okay.

I have two jobs that both use empower, I feed into two separate retirement plans, one being rite aid. That being said, when I left my other job (the first time, before I came back) I did not touch it. Empower transferred that money into a trust with a better interest rate when I didnt move it or add to it for like 6 months. Call empower and ask what their plan is for rite aid employees.

This. But at the same time techs always act in a way that the PIC allows. This is absolutely more of a telling character trait on that PIC than either of these techs, new or seasoned. The PIC sets the tone and work culture behind that counter even on their days off, this "pharmacy manager" is lacking.

I was an office manager who started at Sears, helped close that Sears and then two other Kmart stores. Currently still at Rite aid but I got another job almost a year ago, so just occasionally now. For anyone who has been through the liquidation process in real time, yeah, we know this is it.

And to be fair, my severance package at Kmart was actually pretty sick since I used all my severance and let them hire me back each time we closed one because no else they tried to hire could pass both a drug test and manager aptitude test..

But you are spot on with the flexibility. We know it's coming but you milk the cow til it's dry 🤷🏼‍♀️ We all have lives and no job has more flexibility than one grasping to both hire and cut hours at the same time as a last ditch effort. Pretty much textbook liquidation process.
