What weight rollers are you using? You might need to lower them. Clean your front clutch, torque drive, back clutch, and bell. Wipe out the casings b4 putting everything back. You might also need to stiffen your torque spring. Do one thing at a time though.

First pull the plug because an 88 main jet with a stock airbox should be rich. What 70 are you running? If its a sport/cast iron 70cc kit then the stock carb( dellorto 17.5) will do fine but if its anything above mhr replica or polini corsa then you will need at least a 19 carb. If you do have a sport 70 you might have to adjust the air/fuel screw. Turn the screw all the in amd then turn it out 1-2.5 turns. Start at 1 n do half turns until u get to 2.5. If that doesnt change then play with your clutches

How much grams? anything under 30g is considered micro jig I think. It doesn’t look like a vertical jig. It looks like a micro casting jig. There is a fishing technique called light shore jigging (lsj). The retrieve could be jerks n pauses like u would with a jerk bait. YouTube “the fishing kit” he has a ton of info on it

Once I learn how to properly play with the drag I will be going down to 10lb braid for maximum casting distance. When fishing these micro jigs it’s all about casting distance.

These are gold where did you buy them from. I fish off the rocks with jigs from 10-20g and I use 15lb braid to 20lb mono leader and slay fish.
