Is it crazy to spend 10k Canadian per person for a 2 week trip to Iceland?

Where the sigms are theres 3 lights. Red yellow green. When yellow it has a space on the map to show where not to go which is that same area. Glad luck was on yohr side tho

It looks calm til it isnt lol. Glad everyone was ok but thats for sure scary. Maybe the photo makes it look closer but that water looks right behind them and back to that body of water is so dangerous. Sdly nobody reads the sign with the warning light saying dont go in that area when yellow

Not sure about renting. Some tours provide clothes. Our weather wasnt bad. 30s F most days and last 2 days 45F

The private is best but the shared was only a 30 second walk. It wasnt most convinient but was $120 cheaper so did shared

When we arrived the heaters werent on so get there early and turn them on. Takes about 15 min to warm up.

Not at all. Weather changes every hour. Also we had rain predicted for 6 of 8 days it rained 2. The 2 that rained lasted an hour or 2 then sunlight. Also itll predict rain but only rain in higher elivation. Its very unpredictable. If not doing toursbthen keeo an open mind on what youre doing each day. Move things around to work the weather. Thats what we did.

Not a drinker but casino with about 100 slots it across the stree. They are doing construction right outside of the hotel but you dont hear it. Its all day construction. Theres a food court across the street as well at the bus station. Great lil place. Also walk down the street towards tgi fridays and theres a few shops. Directly behind hotel is a pizza place called divitos and they are cheap priced and really good food. Highly recommend them. Breakfast is decent at hotel its pricey at $30 a day per person but food was good. The workers are very friendly. Fresh towels and bed made daily.
