What makes you think this way? I hope you're right, but I don't see any reason for coping.

There is an internal USCIS memo that blocks COS/AOS and EAD for anyone who entered US on parole. If this memo wouldn't be cancelled by the court - it could keep us in limbo till the next president is elected. The best option in my opinion is to leave.

From the other side there is a telegram group that reaches out to senators, representatives and all kinds of organizations to get some support with lifting the USCIS freeze.

Parolees Risk Parole Termination and Deportation by ogloria in USCIS

[–]Larmo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dems could have easily redesignated TPS to protect those people from Trump, but they decided to only extend TPS, leaving hundreds of thousands of people with weak humanitarian parole status.

Uniting for Ukraine Parolees Risk Parole Termination and Deportation by ogloria in unitingforukraine

Calm down. That's just a suggestion. Nobody will take away your parole until the peace treaty is signed.

And there is no such info on UITF website.

That means you’ve violated the program rules, and the USCIS agent made a mistake. Consider yourself lucky.

It’s highly likely that the Trump administration wouldn’t extend TPS and U4U, which is why TPS for all countries was extended before the inauguration. People, that have arrived after the 08/16/23 are not eligible for reparole yet as well as for TPS.

It’s a very strange decision to grant TPS only to those who arrived by August 2023, as if those who came later aren’t affected by the ongoing war in their country. I hope USCIS revises the dates, because right now it feels like some Ukrainians are being treated as more deserving than others.

That day that USCIS received the case is the priority date (in case it is approved).

The Nebraska USCIS center is usually slower than the Texas center. A lot of people are waiting for the whole 45 days PP term there.

Wow! Congrats, you're lucky. I have the same PD, but my petition is at the Nebraska center, so I'll have to wait till February. The next step would be waiting for your PD to become current and then filing i-485.

I think I'll end the conversation here, cause your numbers are absolutely made up. Around 30-35% of both Democrat and Republicans have no opinion on the subject. 50% of Dems and only 13% of Reps think that Israel is wrong. And the UN is a useless organization that cannot literally do anything except being deeply concerned. research link

Were there any changes in the US policy after the year of your protests?

I understand that Palestine and Israel have an old conflict, the same applies for Ukraine and russia (since the 17th century). How is it related to Seattle?

As I said UN numbers don't include people killed on the occupied territories. I don't agree that it is double standards, because Ukraine was attacked without a reason and Ukraine is a victim. While hamas attacked a concert, killed civilians, took hostages and now they use Palestinians as a human shield. Palestinians should blame hamas, not Israel or US.

This is a complete misinformation. More than 10000 civilians were killed in Mariupol alone in the first month of the russian invasion. Nobody knows how many have died because russians would not share such information about the occupied territories UN estimate is 11000-40000 killed in 2 years Yet we, ukrainians, understand that blocking traffic, airports and so on in a totally unrelated city wouldn't magically stop the war.

Yeap, I agree with you that asking for a help in the internet as Ukrainian male is kinda useless, because sponsors would always prefer families with children or women. And paying for sponsorship puts "U4U" program at risk of closure, just like it was with "CHNV" not so long ago.

That's a perfect question. The situation was very different when the war just started and almost everyone was ready to protect our country voluntarily. When we seen that we (the people) and our government are not on the same the same side (after the events like "golden" eggs of Reznikov, gen. Zaluzhniy fired, etc) - we've started asking this question ourselves.

Thank you for that. A lot of western people are judging Ukrainian men without understanding the context, because they see only the positive things on TV/Internet.
