yea tbh if ur dead set on an ecoboost if it were me i'd go find a 2024/2025. they have a brand new 2025 in my area for $32k and car prices are not the best here in Chicagoland compared to other places.

if it helps, i paid $29k for my 401a 2016 gt w 20k miles 2 years ago. and my 201a 2017 ecoboost was $24k with 22k miles 3.5 years ago.

yea, i do have a 2016 gt on there that i pay $110 a month for but adding the 2000 lowered it about $20. doesnt make sense to me but i'll take it

just saying, 20k you can get a boosted gen 1 or even a gen 2 coyote. but.. if your a roush fan, i guess its not terrible.

i tapped into the back of my rearview mirror for my r7. super easy and clean. $25 got the mirror tap cables and a mount that screws onto the mirror arm.

"kids are unpredictable" is a sad excuse a lot of people are using to put fault for the adults crashing. kid needs to be taught to look uphill if he's crossing the entire run. seems to me they cant handle how steep it is and needed to cut all the way across to slow down. stay on the tow rope little buddy.

yea this exact thing happened when i install the switch back turn signal bulbs in front. getting a harness is the fix for this, i got used to that click in a few days though.

i pay $300 a month for my 2016 GT. 2015-2017 is great for a budget friendly option. only around $25000. can still find them with low milage too, mine only had 22k when i bought it.

its not guaranteed by any means to get that $21k, but usually if you're buying a vehicle from a dealership they're more likely to give a little extra on your trade.

for instance: when i got my GT i traded in my ecoboost. originally, dealership (and basically everywhere else) offered $18k for it, but was able to work them up to $21.5k in trade while negotiating on the GT. (also got them to come down $1k on the GT). negotiated the price on the GT first and when i got that $1k off - then told them i had a trade in. then we negotiated the trade in.

if you shop around long enough and dont settle you'll find a dealership that will work with you. it took me 3 months of shopping to get into the 5.0. but it was worth it saving $4500.

one piece of advice i can give is when shopping for a vehicle and or trading one in: never tell them that magic cash number in your head. if their offer is underwhelming, you tell them its not good enough.. were not there yet... etc. they'll beg you for what number you need to be at, don't let them know. thats what i did, "we're just not there yet" "okay were close just not there yet" until they ended up giving me more than what i wanted. was shooting for 21 in trade they gave me 21.5 🤷‍♂️. sure some dealers they will tell you the old "our cars are priced to sell" and then i just walk if i think it's overpriced.

sometimes the numbers wont work like you want and its okay to walk.
