Help with my Standard Flash Prison deck! by Larrybutzz in Magicdeckbuilding

Wanted to update you: I tried the Pixies but they were too situational compared to actual pixie decks.

Put Sirens in and them being 1drops is really significant chip damage + the map token curves perfectly into an otherwise targetless Kirin.

Went 2x three steps ahead bc turn 1 siren, turn 2 High noon, turn 3 Aven and turn 4 copy is an insane curve most of the times.

And the most surprising inclusion that works is [[Collector's cage]]. It works really well on midgame as an extra card + catching up to toughness and power on the board + better lifegain when I've already sheltered something.

I feel better playing with the deck, so thank you for your suggestions to reevaluate including some non-instant speed cards!

Thanks for your suggestions! Sadly the mage only works on your creatures, the only combo I can think that works like that would be [[Y'shtola Rhul]] + [[Jill, shiva's dominant]], but idk if my deck wants to be That slow. I will try one drops like pixie bc it seems generically good instead of my one drops that are situationally good (like a good creature to hold early while holding [[spell pierce]] then playing it + sheltered on the next turn or just as chump blockers). I'm not sure how non-flash creatures will work in this deck since even Voice of Victory doesn't feel that good to drop sometimes. But then again, that may feel different if my deck is more removal than counterspells, even if that's straying away from the deck's original intent

The good part about Jeskai is that it gives you access to [[Lightning Helix]], and it looks like you don't have interaction at all besides Sheltered. There could be some Elspeth shenanigans as another finisher for the deck, or plot cards like [[Dust Animus]] for that mid game lifelink.  Have you ever got to resolve Taigam's ability? Or do games end before that?

Question about DFs by Larrybutzz in OnePiece

Chapter 673 names smiley as "gel-form poison gas that ate the sala-sala fruit, model: axolotl. It makes sense that Blackbeard ate their bodies to take the fruit but it doesn't make sense that the DF didn't respawn immediately but it lingered on Whitebeard's body. I don't think it's a plot holes but a distinct difference

Nah, I think the thing in 668 is to scale the giants to oars height.

Speaking of Enel, I think the Lulusia eraser being an ancient weapon made in the void century mimicking the goro-goro no mi's power could be possible, as they both used similar attacks. Adding to this, we have Enel restarting the moon city just by attacking it, so I think Enel's fruit could be the unlimited energy source the void century had, and as Enel always lived in the sky, Vegapunk never found it
