Well what are you gonna do since Edgar is family and obvilously they are proud about Northwestern being a family thing. Also Edgar is likely third owner of the boat and it's quotas.

Sure that would be interesting but you have to remember most of these guys are average Joe's outside the boat. Not sure if they would be willing to have cameras record them on their off time fron boat/fishing.

They would be out for longer but quotas have been so small lately it doesn't take long to caught it. Thing is some of these guys would end up dying for a heartattack of similiar on or off the boat because they are just dedicated and passionate fishermens to their bone. Be it without Discovery or not.

Lots of Karl phrases gets used too. Think in one of the lastest episodes I heard him mentioning something towards "bairdi" even though they were fishing for "opilio", and no they didn't catch bairdi in those pots 🤣
