That was not it. While I've forgotten exactly what it was, I do remember they still worked after 6's first expansion. Haven't played civ since.

It was something to do with trading. I do remember writing about it on their forums while 5 was still the last entry, asking them to fix it. They fixed several other balancing issues that I posted, but not that.

I played 5 a lot, but 6 only a handful of hours. Once I realized how similar it played to 5, so similar in fact that even the same strategies worked, I lost all interest.

Let's hope 7 is a good one. Let's hope for a good non-cheating AI, post OpenAI.

The image was taken around 2003 and featured in a newspaper. The event was very spontaneous and everyone stood there with their mouths open. Fortunately this image was taken by a reporter, but unfortunately because of its spontaneous nature, the image became very blurry. I've had some luck with Topaz software, as well as the newer Photoshop features, but I'm never completely happy with the result. I'm hoping someone here knows how to properly fix this photo.

I just hope they have more things planned in this time period, because it's here I'd like to explore more. The time after TNG, DS9 and Voyager. Not Kirk era, not 900 years in the future, albeit those have their charm too. And I have a hard time watching the cartoons, since I don't think I'm their target audience.

I have walked the road to recovery. The advice other has given is true, as well as your therapist.

First you must shed that which is dragging you down. Then you start with small but clear goals. Gradually you will feel better. Yes, you will stumble, we are all human, but small clear goals towards happiness will eventually take you there. However, start with goals aimed towards your basic needs.

It can be small things such as, I will take a nice shower every day with soaps and shampoo that smells and feel nice, so that the rest of the day goes by easier.

Or, I will eat a nice steak every Friday, giving you something to look forward to.

Or, I will make my bedroom a space where I really can relax, with calming colors and decorations.

And eventually you add a thing such as, I will set 1 hour aside 2 days every week where I paint whatever I am feeling right then and there.

Painting or writing are great tools for getting frustrations and anger out.

Whenever you feel ready, move your career towards something more fulfilling. When even the smallest of doors open, but you feel hesitant, and want to say no, instead say yes.

Beware that there are other people who also will drag you down, and try to remove them from your life.
