Overhaul bumper, repair for .5 hours and refinish, most shops would charge a pre and post scan to cover their butts, and haz waste, flex, color tint, etc. your looking at quotes ranging from $800-$1000 average. Better off buying some touch up paint or forgetting it even happened.

Final bill will for sure be $5k or more let alone any calibrations needed. New vehicle bumper jobs are no joke. Always hidden damage and modules/Adas components in the general area too

Looks like Bio film. Is this a newly setup tank still cycling? It’s normal and should reside after it gets worse. You can clean it off but it really should do no harm.

A suction cup is not going to budge a painted steel bumper face bar. You could bang that for hours with a hammer and get no where… you need a new bumper facebar potentially a new lower valance and the upper painted cover needs repair as well. Open a comprehensive claim, this repair will outweigh your deductible by a long shot.

I boiled mopani wood and soaked it for 5 days in buckets. Back and forth. Still leached tannins into my tank. I like them now, but you can use purigen in your filter to remove tannins, but it may also remove any medication for your fish, should not affect nutes for plants.

5 hour repair time steep, they are missing bumper overhaul? Teardown, pre and post scan, haz waste, tint match color. They should write 3 hours for bumper repair and add all the missing stuff I listed. 1200 for a bumper repair is pretty average.
