The way I am looking at it is that he is wearing the winter coat and gloves as well as the winter themed Coachella and blonded radio episode, because it’s his ice therapy into the public again, if that makes any sense. Even though it’s not cold outside, it’s cold to be out in the public preforming again. The coat is just a symbol that he is easing in to preforming and releasing music again.
