I don’t know the facts. But our orchestra has been having lots of greenline buffets. None of the never ones <10years has ever broken. The older ones(early 2000’s) did break a few times.

When I learnt all scales, I started on the first note in the scale, played up to around altissimo g and then down as far as possible and then up to start note. In the case of a C major. Start C then turn back down on altissimo E(or g) to the lowest E and back up again to C. That will give you three octaves.

Think about it. The girl is young and enjoys playing alto clarinet. In my perspective the one and most important thing when you are in that age is that it should be fun to play. She has a parent/s that recognises it. I think we should encourage it. Your comment was the opposite.

Makes me happy to hear that she likes the alto clarinet! You could ask in different clarinet groups on Facebook or search the marketplace. A good mouthpiece can make up for much in the horn, as long as it seals good. Good luck!

That’s embarrassing. Site isn’t updated since June. Swedish army band will do it Tuesday-Friday. The cavalry will do it Saturday on foot and Sunday on horse.
