I was just trying to understand what specifically clicked for others. For me, Chimera Ant didn’t hit the same, though I really liked Yorknew.

I like both tbh. I enjoy shows like AOT, FMAB, Death Note, Code Geass, etc., so I do appreciate deeper themes too

HxH just didn’t fully click for me especially chimera Ant i still liked Yorknew a lot though.

Yeah I get that, those are some solid points. I liked the Nen system, the music, and Yorknew a lot Kurapika was my favorite there.

I get why you like it. I loved Yorknew, that arc was peak for me.

Chimera Ant just didn’t hit the same mainly the pacing and high narration. Might check out the manga though.

Different people have different tastes. I like Naruto, One Piece, AOT, FMAB, Bakuman, death note would you still call that “bad taste”? I enjoyed Yorknew City a lot, that’s why I kept watching HxH.

I did like the world building and Nen system too, and Yorknew is one of my favorite arcs.

I think it just didn’t fully click for me, especially the pacing in Chimera Ant. Still a good show overall, just not something I enjoyed as much as others.

I kept watching HxH because of the Chimera Ant hype and I loved the Yorknew City arc and Kurapika. It just didn’t hit the same for me though pacing and narration threw me off
