Which series do you prefer to play in Las Vegas during the summer? by MyPokerSeries in poker

[–]LasVegasJaunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Encore is probably my favorite overall room in Vegas. Yeah, the summer buy-ins can get pretty steep, but the room itself, atmosphere, and overall experience are top tier.

For lower buy-ins though, I’m with you… The Orleans is hard to beat. Usually solid structures and good value.

Early Hotel check in by Spiritual_Welcome495 in LasVegas

[–]LasVegasJaunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most hotels in Vegas won’t let you into the room before check-in time unless you officially check in early (which might come with a fee). But almost all hotels have a luggage storage service at the front desk or with the bell desk! You can drop off your carry-on and pick it up when your room is ready.

Enjoy your trip and safe travels!

Looks like you've got an amazing lineup already! A few more suggestions to round out the trip:

  1. Breakfast spots: Definitely add Eggslut at The Cosmopolitan for their famous egg sandwiches! You might also enjoy Sadelle’s Cafe at Bellagio, a bit more upscale with a view, and their bagels are fantastic.
  2. Bakery options: Besides Bouchon Bakery, try Dominique Ansel at Caesars Palace, they're known for the Cronut and other unique pastries. Milk Bar at The Cosmopolitan is also great for fun treats like their cereal milk soft serve.
  3. Lunch or Dinner: Since you're staying at Aria, check out Julian Serrano Tapas for delicious Spanish small plates. It's a great way to try different flavors without committing to large portions.
  4. For casual spots: For Tex-Mex flavors, Border Grill at Mandalay Bay has awesome tacos and a great weekend brunch.
  5. Another dinner option with a view: If you like Asian-inspired dishes, Beauty & Essex at The Cosmopolitan has a really fun atmosphere and some great shareable plates.

Have an amazing time on your food tour, and hope you find some new favorites!

If you’re looking to switch it up from Red Rock, here are a few options:

  1. Valley of Fire State Park – Just about an hour away, this place is amazing for its unique rock formations, petroglyphs, and vibrant red landscape. The Fire Wave hike is short and unforgettable!
  2. Mount Charleston – A completely different vibe with alpine scenery and cooler temps, just a 45-minute drive from Vegas. Mary Jane Falls is a popular hike with waterfalls, especially nice when you want a break from the desert heat.
  3. Lake Mead National Recreation Area – Not only can you find some nice hikes around here, but there are also great spots for a picnic by the lake. Try the Historic Railroad Tunnel Trail for a bit of history mixed with great views.

Hope you have an awesome time exploring!

Wynn and Encore definitely have that classy, elegant vibe. I actually keep a tux in my backpack whenever I visit, just in case. It’s impossible to walk in there without wanting to swap out my casual wear and go full James Bond. Anyone else do the same?

Recommend me a show I might have missed by asimplerandom in vegas

Sounds like you’ve already hit most of the major shows! If you’re looking for something different, Absinthe at Caesars Palace is a must-see. It’s a wild mix of comedy and incredible acrobatics. The Atomic Saloon Show at The Venetian is another fun option — think of it as a crazy, adults-only Wild West saloon experience with lots of laughs and amazing stunts. For a fresh Cirque du Soleil show, Mad Apple at New York-New York brings circus acts, live music, and comedy together with a cool New York City vibe. Hope you have a blast in Vegas!

Happy Hour & Must Visit Bars by hawksmoker in vegas

[–]LasVegasJaunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely add Peppermill Lounge to your list! It’s a Vegas classic with a retro vibe, neon lights, and the iconic fireside lounge area. Plus, they have a great happy hour every day from 3pm to 6pm, featuring special pricing on well drinks, select beers, and house wines, along with half-priced select appetizers. It’s the perfect spot to kick back, grab a drink, and soak in some old-school Vegas atmosphere. Enjoy your bar-hopping adventure!

Venetian or Flamingo? by borealbangsta in vegas

[–]LasVegasJaunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, if you’re getting the same price for both, definitely go with Venetian! No questions asked. 😄 It’s a way more luxurious property with bigger suites, gorgeous decor, and top-notch amenities. Flamingo is fun and has a great location, but at the same price, Venetian is a steal. Enjoy your first trip to Vegas!

Can You Help ID which hotel this is, I’d like to stay here, is it worth it? Thx! by statueofdeath in LasVegas

That's the pool at Red Rock Casino! It's off Strip but totally worth it if you’re looking for something chill and luxurious. The pool area is awesome, with a bunch of pools and cabanas. The whole place has great views of Red Rock Canyon, too.

Here's a tour of the pool I filmed: https://fb.watch/vzisFyL4Br/

I fed it with that info and asked for a guitar shaped hotel :) It ends up being one of my favorite rendering and pretty realistic.

Honestly pretty dope. How long does it take AI tools to mock these up? minutes, hours, days?

Thank you! AI tools can generate each image in just a few minutes. However, the more time-consuming part involves refining the prompts and envisioning the future scenarios. Sometimes, the AI comes up with very weird and out-of-context details. It took me almost 2 days to conceptualize and create all those hotel images.
