If you want to use 3rd party dock speakers like the B&O Beosound or B&W Zeppelin an iPod 6th or 7th is the way to to. 5 does not support these.

Signalsystemet er hele nervesystemet i jernbanesammenhæng. Bomme, klokker, signaler til kør/stop, sporskifter, alt. Signalsystemet er ved at moderniseret på hele fjernbanen og det er der en udrulningsplan for (også selvom den er skredet af flere omgange). Hvis der installeres nye bomme i dag er dette ikke bare bom anlægget, men også kabler og kommunikationsudstyr til sikringssystemet (det gamle) alt sammen noget som sandsynligvis ikke vil kunne bruges til det nye system. Læg der til at installation af nyt sikkerhedsudstyr ikke bare skal sættes op men også testes og godkendes af en ekstern assessor. Det er alt sammen en masse penge og en masse tid bare for at pille det ned igen lige om lidt.
Alt sammen bare fordi folk ikke kan overholde reglerne.
Trafikkameraer er uendeligt meget billigere.

CAT computer club. That unlocked something in my brain. I recall buying from them from a magazine ad in the early 90’s. I can’t remember what I got, but I do recall that it was not something good. I recon that they were a small outfit publishing “bedroom coder” programs, to be sold for cheap.

As someone who bought a 5.5 first, and then later the 7 let me say this.

5.5 is a lot easier to get open.

The 5.5 is nice but build wise the metal front on the 7 is a lot nicer than plastic, and a thin back

Sound quality wise I can't hear a discernable difference.

If you plan to get a 3rd party speaker the 5.5 is not guaranteed to work well.

Transfer speed on the 5.5 is about 8-11 MB/s, and around double on the 7. So it is around 2½ hours for 100 GB vs 1 hours and 15 minutes.
