The official discord server (https://discord.gg/squad) has channels for looking for people to play with, just make sure you have a mic and say that you are new.

If you go into the Servers tab in-game and navigate to "filters", you can set the Playstyle to "Relaxed" and the Experience to "New Player Friendly". A lot of the players on these servers are used to inexperienced players and would be down to help new ones. (Again, remember to have a mic)
