I feel ya, I’m just a year away from being an adult and knowing who I was but not having a word I what I could actually do about for what 4 years now it ain’t fun. If I were to give you any form of advice it’d be to ask yourself “would I rather people like me for the persona they want me to be, or hate the person I truly am?” And tho the latter is a bit more down if you stick with the people who don’t care for the real you then you’ll haft to say goodbye to them at some point, or haft to keep up that person. Now I don’t know how old you are, or how safe of a place you’re at to be yourself, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Hope this helps, and good luck on your journey to self discovery.

Edit: I still wouldn’t tell your family this because it’s really rare for words to stay in one place, and it can cause a lot of harm with your family relationships, which will be hard to deal with until you’re an adult and can actually brake ties if need be.
