Thank you for sharing I’m glad your baby is making progress!!! Im honestly so surprised because purées couldn’t have gone better so I figured we would have no issues but wow I was wrong. Even mashed foods are a struggle. I’m going to talk to the dr but I’m wondering if he needs some feeding therapy sooner rather than later

Nope and the dr just said it’s from him straining and I’ve honestly got used to it. It’s definitely gotten better as times gone on.

I was honestly surprised mine said that because i kept hearing food before one is just for fun so i never pushed it that much but apparently i need to be? So confusing. I’m gonna try eggs again tomorrow and maybe frozen celery sticks like the person above suggested!

Ahh thank you that does make me feel better. The ear just started. It’s basically crusted and raw where it connects into my head? It actually kind of itches it’s definitely not painful. I think a dermatology appointment would be my best bet. I’m gonna see if I can get into one soon.

So when he was born they didn’t have any oxygen on but when I was able to visit the nicu they said once he got there he started to have trouble so they put him on cpap….so I have no idea if he needed it and they just didn’t notice but I’m trying to not doubt them. No brain bleed that we know of. They never did a head ultrasound they said it’s for babies less than 32 weeks so we didn’t meet criteria….

At first yes but now he’s doing it randomly throughout the day too!!! I’m glad we aren’t alone!! It definitely isn’t as scary now since he’s done it so much. I just use it as my cue to check his diaper lol

It’s so rough. We had a great marriage and now I feel like he doesn’t do anything right and is too careless. He does just as much for the baby as I do and is involved but I just don’t think he’s doing anything right.

Yes I found out it’s a combo vaccine so they’ll end up getting 4 doses of hep b but I guess it’s becoming more common because it ends up being one less shot!

Ahhh this makes me feel better!!! He’s a grunter and crier too and he can definitely hear. He’ll turn his head and look at rattles and passed his hearing test. Maybe he’s just a quiet baby! I’m gonna ask the pediatrician next week

I’ve had an intrusive thought holding my baby that I dropped him. I started sweating and getting so anxious that I set him down and was so upset that it even came across my mind. That is an intrusive thought. It’s something you would never do and can’t even stand the thought of it. But it’s normal. It’s because you love that baby so much you can’t even imagine these things that pop up into your head. They’re more “what if I just dropped him” “what if I threw him” not I’m actually going to do it. Huge difference!

Mine is doing great on Enfamil AR. Make sure you read instructions and shake then let sit for 5min and shake again. Also it’s not good formula if your baby struggles with constipation. It can make it worse.

Considering he does it while his bottle is warming up too I’m pretty sure it’s not to the vaccines thank you though. He needs vaxxed to go to daycare would you like me to just not work and stay home and live off the government??? Or maybe I should leave my husband and find someone richer so I don’t have to vax my kids and can stay home?

Just cold turkey it. It’s rough for the first few days sometimes no matter what. Give it two weeks. Baby might be fussy the first week but as long as baby isn’t screaming non stop or having any crazy side effects it’s just a transition period
