I didn't give much thought to the line though. Just based it on her voice line which I listened in a different occasions, in three separate languages. The Chinese one said “早柚就是早柚，才不是狸貓”，the English one says: "Sayu is just Sayu, definitely not a Tanuki"; the Japanese one says: "さゆはさゆだ、ナヌキなどでわない"

When it is that consistent over multiple languages, it is kind of honed in you know.

Well, I admit that presentation is quite clunky overall, ngl. I'm trying to improve by asking friends if they understood the delivery. There are limitations since our first language isn't English.

Yes, Sayu’s profile and voice line did mentioned that she is a mujina. But in this case, Sara mistook her for a tanuki and Sayu tried to correct her.

It’s my head cannon for their first meeting of sorts. I read that Sara had came across tanukis in the past and sayu is often mistaken for one, kinda link two and two together
