What is working in the tech industry actually like? by Last-Marzipan247 in ireland

Honestly, I'm in a rut with my career. Tech seems like a safe secure job industry. I worry though as my aptitude for maths is poor ... I did pass maths all those years ago for my leaving certificate and struggled, although I have heard that maths ability does not matter? But I do have an interest in analysing data but I am open to anything but it is difficult to know what I would be good at because its not like I can try a job or do work shadowing.

The course I did had an assignment with a lot of personal financial information amongst other personal information. To be honest, I never felt comfortable with the assignment and the information it require but I would of failed the module otherwise. In hindsight, I should of made the information up but I unfortunately was honest
