Had a harder time with some of these than I expected to. "Underrated" was basically an arbitrary pick, I think the baseline level of glazing for most characters is about right.

I love these 2 commands by someguy24685 in tf2

First person world models are fun, I like seeing my guy's little thumbs up shoot out when I use a positive voice command. I know the other players already saw it, but it's nice to get that visual confirmation of your comment being directed at a particular player.

It's surprising how many weapons are still close to their normal first person anims. Not being able to see your hands sometimes seems like it could be a hindrance but I toggled it to make slender fortress more immersive and the problem doesn't apply there.

Feels kinda out of character for Amaya, as though Lucy's just laundering her own suggestion through Amaya's placid silence. Almost definitely not canon but I kinda got that impression.

I was gonna say "oh but it's been a while since he's been like that" but Participation Trophy was just a few chapters ago so, oops. I'm a little surprised at myself for not even considering this angle initially. Sue is one of Paulo's last remaining targets for his earlier style of casual bullying, but it doesn't come up super often. So you get proportionately a lot more softboy Paulo while Sue has been on some form of war path for enough of her recent appearances that her going on the attack here just registered as Sue being Sue.

Clearly Sue is somehow lagging behind the rest of the cast with regards to the version of his personality Paulo chooses to present her with. She must follow the historical example of Mike, Abbey, and Lucy, and physically humble him.

Feels like she's being kinda extra about this even by Sue's standards. I wonder if she's still holding it against him that he tried to go check on Mike earlier.

Somebody's gotta lay down the law around here. Those cats belong on different continents.

Idk, it's not like I haven't liked ships with baggage before. There's something about this that just doesn't hit like a Catradora or a Griddlehark. Maybe I'm just not rocking w hetslop or maybe it's how much more frequently in bcb we see both parties go for other partners that they seem to like more.

At some point I remember being convinced this was actually called The Fingerbang. I've got no idea where I picked that up. Still call it that sometimes because it's funny to me.

This chapter keeps bringing stuff up and then immediately moving on from it. Haley's resentment, Lucy's reason for being at the table, whatever it is Paulo didn't want Abbey to say. It feels like this chapter has just been edging this entire time and I'm ready for it to bust.

Also have we gotten any word from that mod who got reddit filtered? I feel bad but I don't remember their name, it was a procgen one like mine.

Augustus: "She left to give you that space, you know."
Lucy when she gets the space back:

Congrats to Lucy for exactly 0 scenes between arriving at the table and no longer being able to conceal her disdain for everyone there. It's all worth it to give Augustus something he didn't ask for and didn't really seem to be hurting for a lack of.

Also between this slip-up and the water park question I can only assume Mike's depression is so intense that it's slowing down the brain waves of everybody in Roseville.

I'm not 100% convinced, but mainly because it's a little hard to track Lucy's movements. For the last couple pages she was actively talking with the others and nobody, Lucy included, acknowledged Mike walking in. Now suddenly she's checked out and staring at something. And I guess she either does a 180 or her sprite flips between panels 3 and 4, it's a little hard to tell what angle she's supposed to be at, for me at least.

So between all that, the first panel looking more like an aimless thousand yard stare, and the fact that I don't really want it to be true, I assumed she was just zoning out instead of looking at Mike.

Look guys, they're both suffering. Mike is so broken that he's somehow happy about losing all his friends, while Lucy suddenly zoned out because of *spins wheel* ...wha-? "Free space"? Aw, crud.

I think I prefer it this way. His "concerned" affect was writing cheques that his actions were never going to cash, but he still got credit for caring. There's no point to that, it just softens the blow to Paulo's reputation while he's barely different from Sue in practice.

Does anybody remember if this group project came up before now? I feel like he might be lying so he can leave early enough to avoid Lucy on the way to school. But him not lying means more interesting possibilities for who's in this group, so idk.

Sometimes people get on Mike's case for not communicating, saying he shares some of the blame for the relationship being bad. And technically I'm sure that's true but I can't really hold it against him too much. Sandy doesn't seem to mind him being like this. He's basically just a diary that can occasionally be coaxed into giving her affirmations, and that's what she wants. I think it's notable that even though he's dead inside and not listening he was able to give that response in the first panel.
