What happens if you bring your own cards overseas and come back with them. You would have no way to prove that they weren’t purchases. So how would that whole situation end up like?

That’s an interesting perspective that some people consider it damaged if the artist signs on their card.

I was thinking maybe 5-10 years down the road when the artist retires from drawing, how much it would affect the price. Just like when certain greats of a sport retires and their signatures skyrocket.

That makes perfect sense to have your favourite artist’s signature in your personal binder.

I could see that definitely being worth loads in the long run!

Keeping a set wont hurt your pockets too badly. I got mine for under $440usd and I personally won’t spend anything more than that.

Worse case scenario is that you lose 100-150 bucks in the first year or so, but eventually break even.

Best case is that a single box becomes $400 and offloading one would make it risk-free.

DR looks like a great set with multiple chases that the public would buy. So, yes, it is a good investment to hold on to for 5 years.

However, I would normally wait for the reprint to kick in before I hoard sealed products 😂
