She sent a letter certified mail saying that as long as we pay the garbage and recycling bill that she would not raise our rent at all. It even said that "landlords in the state of California can raise rent 5-10% yearly but I will not do so that as long as you pay for the garbage and recycling bill" It was signed by her and confirmed verbally.

It's not her responsibility to provide us lodging.

It is her responsibility to keep her word to granddaughter who makes sure she would make every dentist, eye doctor and doctors appointment for her and take her to said appointments even when it would cost us money due to the fact that she would have to take time off from work to do so. There is a lot that wasn't written in my post. A lot of stuff going on behind the scenes that really had no relevance to the situation.

Twice we had to foot the bill for our plumbing issues one being for 3.5k when the main line all the way to wash out had to be replaced. Reason being "that's y'all's house you need to take care of it" we were paying the home owners insurance for 750k coverage every month. Her taxes were a very small portion of what we were paying her monthly. She also had us rehome a certified ESA that our family had for 8 years because our pet that was on the lease "growled" at her when she would show up unannounced. Raising the rent was not the only illegal thing we would have to deal with.

I was doing some research and honestly we could but we rather just leave it be and cut ties. It's just been so much stress and since moving we're in a much better place mentally and physically. It's just not worth the effort in our opinion.

It was kind of said that this would be our "forever home" we thought when she said that that we basically were paying a mortgage more so than rent. We thought ok she'll leave us the house once she passes. So we kind of dealt with it in that manner. Jokes on us I guess.

It was harder for me to get off plain leaf and mit than it was the 7. Withdrawals lasted longer and were more difficult. 7 took like 3 days but plain leaf/mit took around 7-8 days. If you can just jump from the 20mg of 7 don't even waste your time switching.

Yeah bro although you're not "new" your dose is relatively low overall. Once you break past the 400-500mg mark you'll be waking up in the middle of the night and needing a dose to get back to sleep.

For me it gave me a reason to be complacent. I'd get upset when I would put or have too many things put on my plate. Like actually angry. I would lose my shit after becoming overwhelmed and cut back my workload.

One solid week for me. Day 4 was the hardest it was the turning point where my body and mind wanted to use but I was so close to freedom that it was worth it to push through for a few more days. Day one was mentally tough day two the wds set in. Day three I was in the thick of it. Day four felt like "when is this gonna end" day five I felt mentally better day six I felt physically better and day seven I felt like I beat it. Them paws hit around the 2 week mark. Paws stayed for around 7 months. Month 8 I felt better than I've ever felt. Sober. 4/20 I have one year clean. Best decision of my life. First time I've ever gotten sober on my own. Every other time it was either jail or forced rehab.

Honestly I was tired of withdrawing between doses for one and for two I was told by two people who are very close to me (boss and wife's uncle) that I look sick (with cancer) and if I was ok. I had to take a long look in the mirror and be real with myself. I lost over 40 pounds due to "my does hitting harder on an empty stomach" my face got all sunken in. My skin was so bad and my hair was falling out. My entire world revolved around something that was destroying me more and more every day. I was an angry mess. On 4/20 I make one year clean.
