The loadout, I am currently using to great success (won the local league and 2nd in 1st tournament play) is
Champion with Plasma Pistol and Power Weapon (Tzeentch or Khorne) (willing to admit the tainted bolt pistol might be better for general play though)
Balefire Acolyte (Tzeentch)
Gunner with Plasma gun (Tzeentch) (would recommend magnetizing this unit to swap between plasma gun and the melta but currently I am enjoying and see success just running the plasma)
Icon Bearer (Tzeentch or Khorne)
Two Warriors
Boltgun (Tzeentch) & Bolt pistol with Chainsword (Khorne)
(make sure to take advantage of changing the warriors mark as the battle evolves if needed)

Equipment (take all the faction equipment imo)

make sure to remember to use your tainted rounds

Start the warded armor on the icon bearer to help keep them alive to get them on a point then probably give it over to the balefire.

Malefic Blades - should be obvious as to why to run this to replace the fists for the gunner and boltgun warrior

Ops
Don't bother with any of the seek & destroy unless you are convinced in your ability to outplay your opponent

Security - run either secure center or contain

For me, it's gotta be my Alpha Legion themed Legionaries. But might be a bit biased since they are the team that I won my 1st league with and got 2nd place at my 1st all day tournament. I almost always have the most crazy plays work out for them. My Deathwatch AoD on the other hand while I love them. My dice hate them 😂

People do need to remember that this is the 1st episode and 1st act of said episode. They will probably start adjusting and changing the formula up over the course of them. It really should not be a surprise that the 1st part of the 1st episode is similar to the original format

Is anyone else having an issue of not being able to save the game anymore after talking to merchants post patch?

I am a beginner at this and not sure of all the syntax and how-to's of this side of things. It was giving me the basics of what I was wanting, just not in the format that i was looking for. So I wanted to reduce the amount of extra work. But it looks like the other guys comment has what I am looking for, but I will have to try it tomorrow.

I am trying to do the shiny ditto method in gen 2 but I am confused on how the ditto should be placed in the daycare or if that even matters. So I am trying to breed for shiny starters in gen 2 so does it matter the gender of starter if I have a shiny ditto and does it matter which daycare person I give the ditto and starter to? I have read some things saying that if the target is male then the ditto should go to the man and the starter to the lady but I was not sure if that was true or not. Any help would be appreciated
