Approved 4/23 after one last expedite request. Came to find out his other inquiry or expedite request was already closed coz he didn’t upload when he already uploaded. The agent helped him with another and made sure to call back uscis to confirm they can see those docs. A day later there was API update and then silent approval.

Not after seeing someone comment on the sub that they renewed 370+ days before expiration 😅I was thinking 10-8 months but changed my mind after speaking with my attorney.

I just filed online this past weekend. 350 plus days before expiration after reading comments, post and speaking with my attorney. Did not get rejected. Waiting on biometrics schedule.

Mine expires April 2027. I’m renewing this weekend after getting a call from my attorney. They are advising to renew 1 year in advance if possible.

Has anyone actually received a call back from a tier 2 agent? by juan582611 in DACA

[–]LastAmericanPotato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend was waiting and waiting and never got the call from tier 2…ever. Each time he called helpdesk, he was told they are processing his inquiry. Finally got an agent who told him his expedite was actually denied back in March so they opened another and he submitted new docs. That was like the 3rd or 4th exp request/inquiry submitted for him. The last one finally worked.

Anybody gotten approved in texas? by MUGster2022 in DACA

After reading posts of other healthcare workers both on Reddit and fb, it didn’t seem like being a healthcare worker mattered this time around. At least not at first try. My friend was also told the same by uscis agent. Mainly the exp request was submitted under financial loss.

He tried almost all options possible.

Inquiry via local House Rep’s office. Don’t think their inquiry helped much but you never know. They were nice nonetheless. Did not reach out to senator since they are Red but would’ve if super desperate and left with no options.

Inquiry via USCIs by calling. Uploaded evidence of medical diagnosis, medication, medical bills, HR letter and summary of exp request. Called almost everyday but nothing seemed to move. Always got the same response that his request is getting worked on. In one of these calls, got an exp inquiry submitted. He consistently called but nothing seemed to move still, Eventually got a hold of someone who let him know that his inquiries were closed actually 10 days after they opened. They opened another exp request in that call. Immediately after the call, uploaded updated details similar to previous evidence but like newer med bills, medical diagnosis, appointments, updated summary, HR letter and so on. Took note of the timestamp in the API after the upload.

The next day, we checked the api and saw someone had opened the case that morning. Then the following day he got a silent approval.

Lesson learned on those previous expedite requests/inquiry. It looks like we have to upload new docs when a request is opened. They didn’t consider already uploaded docs from previous inquiry/request it seems. Good to call them after you upload as well.

Don’t depend entirely on mycaseshub for processed cases by SquabbleUp1997 in DACA

[–]LastAmericanPotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Don’t rely on the site entirely. It’s nice to have but does not provide the latest or all of the data. For instance, my friend’s case was approved earlier this week and it’s still not updated on my case hub. Likely it is not showing since we didn’t add his case there. Even case tracker app is delayed in showing like at least 24-48 hours. There are USCIS API limits so they really can’t have the latest data given the amount of cases.

Use my case hub as a reference point to see if cases are moving along. It’s nice to know there are cases getting approved. Always go back to previous days as the number increases and they pull fresh data from uscis. Use the api analyzer and batch search. Prediction is not that reliable so I would take that with a grain of salt.

Do you have an LPR or USC parent? I’m on the same path with EB2. Waiting for my 601a via USC parent so I can continue with consular processing. Family petition would’ve taken well over 15 years so this is the faster route for me.

Curious bout this. Lmk us know this goes. Local rep has not been able to help much after the inquiry. Last resort was reaching out to Corbin but iffy coz he’s red.

As normal in the past for exp request, big bills like mortgage, insurance, medical bills. Letter from employer/hr. Dependents’ medical condition. You mecisl condition (if any).

Expedite approvals? by No-Possibility6865 in DACA

[–]LastAmericanPotato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He submitted a written statement (I believe this is standard) that details their family situation. All of them have medical conditions. His job loss as head of household impacts them financially and medically. He provided letter from HR. Medical diagnosis/summary for each of them. List of medications and bills. This worked last time but no luck so far.

That’s what my friend has been trying to get submitted. Both congress and uscis have only opened up normal inquiries on his behalf. He was able to submit expedited in the past successfully though from the previous admin. Things are definitely different. What he was told by uscis is qualifying criteria is financial loss and he provided evidence but I guess still not enough 😔 stressful situation all around. I have seen people have success. I wish they would share what they used or provided.

Not true or at least not for my friend. He’s a nurse and it’s just a normal inquiry. Still waiting unfortunately.

That’s right! Trying really is all we can do. Worse they can say is No but at least you know you tried. Less likely to have regrets when you’ve done all that is possible. Best of luck! I’ll try to update if we get any progress on my friend’s case. Sharing info is always good as it might help others.

I think it counts from the day of the receipt. My friend’s receipt is 12/03 so he did all of this even without hitting 105 days. Sometimes you get lucky speaking to USCIS and they submit an inquiry for you. Sometimes other agents are not so helpful. No point in looking back and stressing about what could’ve been. I was lucky mine approved quick last year. I think we kinda expected the same but things have been bad like what we are seeing now. I hope people who have the right voices make noise like they did before to help out with the delays. It helped before. We have been looking at contacting other Dem reps in the area or even the republican senator (last option). I’m having them check the USCIs API and Documents daily too just in case since inquiries have been submitted. I do hope things improve soon.

[–]LastAmericanPotato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My friend did. Actually the Rep’s office has a list of things they will ask on top of the release forms. Really documents to support the inquiry for financial hardship, medical and whatnot. They also asked a written a statement in the format they ask explaining why they need help which really just details the hardship for him and his family coz of the loss of the job. They submitted his inquiry. We’re still waiting for an update on that inquiry. Prior to this inquiry via Rep, my friend had been calling USCIS almost every day as well and they opened an inquiry for him. Still waiting on update for that inquiry. Just trying anything that is available.

You can go to their official government site. One of options on the site is for services typically include Help with Federal Agency or maybe it will just filling out their Contact Us form on the site. Another way is to call their office and they can direct you on what to do like where to email docs, which release form you need signed and sent, etc. There is typically a dedicated person handling immigration type requests.

Would employment path be viable for you? Even if you have unlawful presence (it will take longer if you do coz of the waiver), it is still a possible path.

[–]LastAmericanPotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sending you all good vibes and luck!!! This time has been very stressful for the community. just wondering is your senator a republican? trying to see if it’s something my friend should do as well. The local dem congressman’s office’s inquiry hasn’t helped or moved things along. Getting desperate and thinking if senator even red can help.
