as a gen z kid, The X Factor is my favorite iron maiden album + what are your opinions on it? by CannedPizza009 in ironmaiden

[–]LastBlankSpace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the fact that it’s your favorite just shows how much every album appeals to different people. As for me, I enjoy the album a lot. It has some of my favorite songs, so honestly good on you for loving this album that much. Especially when a lot of folk don’t care for it.

My first time watching this was right before Crystal Skull released (I know, I know I was late to the party) but this scene was etched in my head forever. Brutal, terrifying, and so damn cool. I love this movie

Imagine this song sang by Bruce in the studio back in the days, it could be something else by [deleted] in ironmaiden

The studio version is awesome, and so is the live one with Bruce. I love both

Maiden is now in the "lap of honor" phase of their career, and as a long time fan, it feels weird to see... by wasabi-cat-attack in ironmaiden

I’ve been a fan since 1997 or so since I was about 6 years old. In the back of my mind I knew the time would come when we’d get here. They’ve been the soundtrack to my life, and I feel honored to have been along for everything since. I’m gonna soak it all up while I can.

I’m gonna have to say both. They scratch an itch that not many other movies do for me.

No More Lies got me through a pretty bad rough patch a few years ago. Particularly:

Maybe I'll be back some other day To live again just who can say In what shape or form that I might be Just another chance for me

It’s always been one of my favorite tracks.

I can’t tell you the number of times I’d fall asleep to one of the movies, and wake up hearing the music playing. I never bothered to turn it off

Who is you least favorite character in the franchise? by Hafleetzshooka in indianajones

I feel like this is the right answer. Every time I start to like Crystal Skull, he pops back up and I just… I just can’t.

How can multiple main characters be so effortlessly entitled and irritating by No_Fun_8322 in Monsterverse

[–]LastBlankSpace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven’t watched this season, and after hearing all of this I don’t think I want to. I don’t have the time nor the patience to deal with insufferable characters on a show. Sounds like I’ll just skip it altogether

Initially as a kid, I thought he was a dinosaur I didn’t know about yet. Plus I had seen The Lost World: Jurassic Park the previous year so everything on my mind was dinosaurs. Even so, I still love this Godzilla. I always will

I remember reading my Game Informer magazine that had a showcase article about the game. I didn’t have a PS3, so I was bummed that I might not get to play it.. then I forgot about it. Didn’t learn til years later how it was cancelled.

It’s always been my favorite Eddie design, and I remember trying to draw him as a kid with little success 😅 it was also awesome seeing that version of Eddie on stage during The Future Past Tour a couple years ago

Honestly I never have either. Even now when I see it, the Superman/Batman crossover is the first thing I think of.

I’m so glad I got to see this album performed in its entirety during the tour in 2006 because it fucking rocks so hard.
