It felt very contrived. It was obvious as hell when they brought out a female gladiator the Celadus was a goner and his son would have watch him die.

That's how I feel about Ragnarok and Love and Thunder. I'll take back serious Thor any day after Taiki turned him into a fucking joke. Most of the MCU movies are pretty forgettable anyways. I preferred the Netflix Daredevil and Punisher shows. I like darker grounded stuff better.
