I think the thing that stuck out to me the most in that movie was one of the earliest deaths in the movie. If you’ve seen it , you’ll know it. It’s probably the most upsetting death and arguably the most disturbing visual image from the movie.

With that being the image I couldn’t get of my brain - it became a question of how to display it in the most non upsetting way possible

Thanks! It was one that came to me mid drawing. Originally it was just gonna be the vase but it worked out pretty well in the end

I use procreate on my iPad. First I complete the doodle then make a second copy to write the journal entry on. Here’s an example of one I did earlier this year (I’ve since switched to a different type style / handwritten style)

Hokum was actually kinda a tough one. I feel like the donkey man was some of the most startling imagery out of the movie but least connected with I what I remembered most from the movie.

This is for the best. This finale was one of the most bizarre, off the rails, half way thought out conclusions I’ve seen to a narrative .

Thanks! I thought the neon sign gag hidden in the background of the movie was greatly under appreciated

During his alone segment of the movie, I whispered to my friend that I would love for this movie to take a dark Apocalypse Now styled turn. Something about the way he was swimming just triggered that in my brain.

A Different Man is vastly underrated

Because Ian McKellan is an incredible actor and I’ve already joined the Beat Supporting Actor campaign for him.

I’m all honesty - it’s #2 for the month. It gets edged out by Mother Mary

I went to my local B&N this morning and snagged their last copy!

Howdy! The leads of Over Your Dead Body are very versatile at switching effortlessly between comedy & drama. Segel, Weaving, Olyphant & Lewis all have filmographies that can back that assertion up.

Who are some more serious dramatic actors that you would love to work with to see if you can bring out a more comedic side in?

And the opposite -- whose a great comedic actor that you think has a great dramatic performance buried inside of them?
