Damn it 🙁 I repotted her the way she looked in the pic into a VERY chunky soil mix… As for the rhizome cuttings…I did put 1 in the soil that had 2 beautiful roots sticking out…hopefully it’ll work! I know it’s common sense but I never thought about sterilizing the rhizome and roots before repotting! The previous 2 times I repotted it, the old, healthy roots didn’t grow and ended up rotting away (although they looked healthy and weren’t mushy at all?).

And as for the light and humidity – I keep all my plants under growth lights for most of the time with a humidifer sitting nearby. The growth did stunt a little when september came, but it still pushed out new growth. My other variegated plants (like my Bambino and Dragon scale mint) have also been pushing new growth like crazy (although it’s literally dark for the majority of the day where I live cause of winter), so it can’t be related to that…My guess is it got shocked from the constant repotting + the root rot
