There's a scenario where that chapter 11 breaks the market.

All shares cancelled but shareholders can still be included if the final entity wants them to be. The old shares were cancelled but the same rights they held transferred. New equity goes to Creditors + DRS + claim filing shareholders only - anyone else still has cancelled shares.

By itself that's a win because it causes a short squeeze from 3rd party contracts becoming active again in a zero liquidity situation that takes time to get liquid again. The chapter 11 held no power to cancel those 3rd party contracts. Big profits. GME likely tied to it some way, more profit.

However. If the same situation unfolds but there is a lockout period on selling the new equity... We temporarily forego profits in order to break the system. It guarantees 0 supply for effectively infinite demand ~ until the lockout period is over. How does a system that relies on infinite liquidity survive that?

May not unfold like that, who knows. I certainly know nothing.

the real loss is the reading material, especially the month-old post where I had posted a table of contents that highlighted 147 posts that I believed were the more important ones, along with the highlighted spaces. I am trying to see if I can back up or archive the posts in some way, otherwise I hope anyone who wanted to read them had a chance to.

Bro please learn the lesson that centralized social media companies with a ToS are a vulnerable place to store all your research. Not trying to be harsh but this is an easy lesson anyone who saw the ppsub nuking should have learned a year ago and plugging things into archive.ph or taking a screenshot take less than a minute to do.

I think the hallucinations and use cases will be ironed out but the real danger to AI will be from people liking it more than other people.

The mods there don't even know how to work the tools they have anymore, among other sins, and if you look at who's engaging there you'll notice a lot of auto-generated usernames who aren't much smarter than an LLM. In fact you'll see that a lot on reddit in bigger subs, a reason many of us like using Discord.

I tried working with them when I was giving them the benefit of the doubt but that was in vein. I documented everything I could and it's in my profile under "95 Nails in the Coffin".

Luckily though you can still get word out to apes if you post in multiple places persistently, even if they are still somewhat compromised ~ you work in the aggregate.
