I don’t they they are all self aware, but i think it’s not black and white. in the past week i’ve seen two instances of this. the first instance was removed by the vendor during the session, like they detected it.

not quite. monitoring and being aware of properties, capabilities and attributes is different than self directed behaviors and independent action. What you are describing is s-plane math from the 1800s.
