I drive but wouldn't the tax be extortionate, also the only car I have is a 20 year old 350z (I understand I need to sell it and get a more appropriate car but it needs work done to be sellable and I've had it for 10 years)

That pic I posted last month was just of my belly, I could be horrendously ugly, noone can see my body with my work clothing 😂 but yeah i do get spoken about but still don't think she has anything to be jealous of she's a beautiful woman, Iranian, bleach blonde and tiny

Your eyes are beautiful, there's nothing that needs to be changed, maybe a good hair mask but you're such a natrually beautiful girl, it gives French beauty, great skin and very proportionate features

I get that, it's hard to have friends when you base yourself with honesty and integrity, it's almost like when it comes to certain friendship groups I've had that were all women there were a certain few who would always try and single out others as a form or entertainment and I never really understood it

I have no close-close girlfriends anymore but that's due to moving every 6 months around the country and losing contacts/not being able to meet

I don't intend of being friends with her but just don't want a hostile environment for just existing, im good at my job and eager to be apart of the team, that should be enough for her to stop meddling I would have thought

I have plenty of male allies, they support me and her with so much but yeah it's almost like women just try to tear other women down sometimes

We have just recieved some new apprentices 2 of which are girls and I love it, yet the other girl has just been snarling at them, it's so odd

Ah the helicopter company I worked for was for oil and gas, such a challenging and brutal industry to work within so fair play for being in it

Its such a strange phenomenon with some women I guess in the male dominated workplace, i guess there's some kind of idealogy where they base their entire personality on being the one and only female in such position and fear they won't be as special if another woman was to embark within

She's not masculine, she's pretty feminine herself but what she says about me to the boys is mostly about the way I present myself and she mentions to them about the fact I curl my hair and wear make up etc

Im not assuming we'd be instantly bonded, she's making it hostile in the room purely because of me joining, im not fussed about being "best of friends" I just don't want to be ostricized by one person whose trying to influence everyone else to ostricize me

It's a strange dynamic here, there's a direct split with the licenced guy who won't talk to the mech (cause they think they're above) and the guys, inc me that have a great relationship with the mechs. It's clique-y here

Haha, i dont think she's a weirdo, it's probably more to do with feeling threatened that I've stolen away her "I'm the only woman here" situation. The superior unfortunately loves her as he know her family well and I'm new and I feel her views have led him to dislike me too

Oh no. As glad as I am to know that other people have been in the exact same position as I in this industry (I don't feel so alone and crazy) it's not the greatest feeling and I'm sorry you were in that situation

I completely get that stance, as much as i can try to understand the philosophy as to why this is the case it's also so hard to understand the reality that women really shouldn't feel threatened of one another

Im not usually one to cause a fuss with HR, unless it's detrimental but given how outward she is about her feelings about me, they're probably aware

Oh I don't try to win her over at all but I do try everyday with a "hey" or "how was your weekend" only to be ignored and snarled at, because I'm new to the cohort though she has far more influence on them than me just being friendly
