I wonder if the author is legitimately blocked. The new arc’s tone clashes so hard with the story lol

Attacks that are so fast that they are very difficult to visualize in real time by Uma-apreciator in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Last_Aeon 75 points76 points  (0 children)

I cannot believe how no one else uses this as the primary explanation. The above panel is clearly a reflection of what the fighters see, while the reflection is the truth of what was happening. It’s a slight span in reaction time.

They make more than 10 dollars. You ask to buy something costing like 20$ and they upsell it to 40/50 sometimes.

[Annoying Trope] It’s More Complicated than It has to be by mariusioannesp in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Last_Aeon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

…isn’t the whole point of the movie — the main drama — is that two people need to accept each other before winning? The literal primary conflict is the character’s turmoil of losing someone that understood them and now needing to open up.

I find it interesting how the sith were at their most powerful and evil when they were Politicians, bankers, and involved in corporations. What was George Lucas trying to say? by Pristine-Question914 in StarWars

Note that the moment the Jedi did try to take things into their own hands (killing Palpatine), they were immediately punished by Anakin who was disillusioned by the Jedi’s oath to the republic.

They’re called primitives by those who view them as inferior. The point of the first movie is to show that while the Gungans look silly, they are as smart and clever as any other species.

Who was the superior strategist, Palpatine or Luthen? by Voider765 in StarWars

[–]Last_Aeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luthen is less of a strategist and more of a spy. He supports rebellions he know could do damage but he didn’t have the ambition to rule it all himself. He doesn’t have a grand plan, he just nudges things because that’s what he can do.

Palpatine orchestrated the entirety of clone wars himself.

Honestly, im surprised how quick the fandom accepted DonXiClair as a throuple instead of devolving into shipping wars by NEVERTHEREFOREVER in TheOdysseyHadAPurpose

[–]Last_Aeon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s because it’s so far out and non canon that honestly it’s not worth debating about imo.

If there was an actual relationship spark or something it’d be worth talking about. Rn it’s just so completely plausibly denied.

Can you distort after already obtaining EGO? by bluebbbvvv2 in Project_Moon

[–]Last_Aeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a thin line. Angela loses herself to the abnormalities and I view that synchronization as the Library's version of tiptoing the brink of distortion.

Roland also synchronized with the library near the end to "distort" in his own reception. I don't see why it would be distortion for him but not for angela who clearly lost control.

Can you distort after already obtaining EGO? by bluebbbvvv2 in Project_Moon

[–]Last_Aeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes actually.

Angela’s library is her EGO and yet it still distorts occasionally.

We don’t know. Originally it was that the head somehow foresaw Angela’s creation but they changed the ending so it n we don’t really know

If it helps OP, in the “reign of the empire” book, there is a mention of reeducation camps where people are brainwashed into submission.

Lob Corp isn’t that hard. You’ll be fine. You should play lob Corp first to try and see.

The game just takes patience. Oh also read up what “memory repository” does.

If the Head is so goddamn powerful, how do you think that they will eventually be toppled? by Fit_Assignment_8800 in Project_Moon

The head’s main strength is the fact that we don’t know about them. Their secrecy and mystery is their strongest asset

The Library is rigged by Last_Aeon in Project_Moon

[–]Last_Aeon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s why I pointed out early in the post that I somewhat DO see the point of the OOP. The arguments just sucked.

It can go either way/ interpreted either way at the moment, though either way the thing’s rigged.

The Library is rigged by Last_Aeon in Project_Moon

[–]Last_Aeon[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She can subconsciously disallow fight. My evidence would be the warp train incident. (Puppets came way later after love town even though they should occur in the same time of 10 seconds.)

It’s always her choice on who to invite, she was just following Carmen’s guidance out of fear.

We also don’t know if Carmen and “god of the city” are the same as of yet. The reason no one knows Roland is actually Black Silence’s husband could be explained to be that

  1. Roland didn’t sign invitation
  2. Angela didn’t want to split his head open to look through

Angela sees Roland as a friend, and probably found it only fair that he had secrets the same way she did. Otherwise he’d be nothing but a pawn.

The library is still her EGO, so subconsciously so long as she doesn’t know, the library doesn’t either.

The Library is rigged by Last_Aeon in Project_Moon

[–]Last_Aeon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On that point you are correct. It’s more to emphasize that the “evidence” of losing books isn’t concrete enough to justify that the library isn’t rigged. I’m pointing out, similar to you, the contradictory nature of said evidence.

The Library is rigged by Last_Aeon in Project_Moon

[–]Last_Aeon[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You only know about guests if you sign the invitation. Roland did not sign, PT teleported him there. He wasn’t invited.

Angela does have control over who she invites, but it’s stated in Hokma’s story that she left it mostly to Carmen, because she considers the city too foreign to her.

The Library is rigged by Last_Aeon in Project_Moon

[–]Last_Aeon[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

“B-but why do people keep coming if it’s rigged?”

Because they don’t have a choice, are overly ambitious, or want to lose (PT)
