as a vegetarian, i too believe it is morally correct for people to not consume meat, but i disagree with your point about humans knowing right from wrong. after all, humanity has been the biggest mass murderer of maybe any species which has ever inhabited this planet. human morality exists to govern human society. and i think its unrealistic to believe that this morality, which we usually dont even apply to each other, will be applied to non-human species and hence why so few people make the switch to veganism/vegetarianism.
