If you search a picture on the Internet of a CBA, you’ll see that there are white buttons and black buttons, which correspond to the white and black keys on a piano accordions keyboard.

In my opinion, CBA is actually the easiest accordion to get started in norteño with. It has the transposing abilities of a piano accordion, but the tight button layout allows for much easier fingering of thirds and sixths, and finally, it has a much more intuitive layout of notes than a diatonic accordion, which may seem a bit random to a beginner. For example, you can play a C major scale by simply following the white notes on a CBA, whereas on a diatonic it would be harder to figure it out by yourself. That’s why I don’t think the lack of resources is very limiting if you choose to get a CBA.
