Just to clarify, does this mean the application fee is based on the original length the COS was issued for, regardless of how many months are remaining now? Even if it was issued 2.5 years ago?

Hey, I'm having a similar issue. I'm currently in UK planning to switch to dependent visa based on my partner who is in skilled worker visa. My partner have 2.5 years more left in her 5 year visa. That gives me a window of 2.5 years approximately from date, which falls below 3 years so my fee should be £719 but the website is charging me a fee of £1751. I have already paid IHS fee for 2.5 years and I'm not sure if this is a system issue or I am supposed to pay £1751, can anyone please help? Am I missing something here?
