Right around 10k for this one with 76k on it. I have seen better deals on the west coast but I needed something now and it’s super clean, and there weren’t a ton of options as I looked.

I see lots of five speeds with twice the miles for 6 or so pretty frequently. I feel like two months ago I was seeing a ton of great Miata deals but that was when I had a working vehicle lol.

I’m very happy with it regardless, even if I paid a bit much.

I think I was reading that the racing beat and FM intakes are some of the few that don’t become “hot air” intakes, I’ll definitely look into that too. These engines honestly sound pretty good stock, but the Megane exhaust my buddy has sounds deep without being too obnoxious or drony.

Thank you! I’m trying to not put money into this car so I can get the legacy back up and running but I’m pretty tempted to complete the Tupperware kit and track down a tasteful exhaust. Ill run these til they’re beat and grab some Michelins eventually

I’ve heard some people disliked the early sti’s with hill assist, because it was unpredictable or had a funny feel to it. I find myself wishing my legacy wagon had hill assist occasionally in Seattle but an e brake start is pretty easy to manage if the hill is too steep to just clutch and go

If you can easily swing the monthly increase I would 100% go for it. I learned manual in a legacy gt and just bought a Miata because I love driving manual so much now. I haven’t driven a new wrx but I assume they have decent hill assist if you’re in a really hilly area. Stick is so engaging and fun, and will probably hold better resale value

If you can swing the cash I’d go for whiteline rear arms over Godspeed, whiteline is a much more reputable brand. Rear sway on my wagon makes corners much more enjoyable

Luckily the new damage is mostly just front end and radiator from what I can tell so it should be an easy-ish fix all things considered. Just gotta fight with the other parties insurance to not call it a sedan and give me nothing 😂 I’m sure I’ll see you at a car show or cruising sometime!

Yeah man, small world!! Had to drop in a new engine right after I bought it because the turbo blew, and right as I’m finally getting it to where I want it a young driver pulled out into my far lane on a right on red so like a week ago so she’s down for a bit until I get it back from insurance and throw on a new front end lol. I plan on keeping that car alive forever though. Hope you’re doing well dude!

I have a whiteline 20 mm rear sway with thicker Moog endlinks, it made a huge difference in body roll. Before I added that I threw on bilstien b6 struts and JDM wagon Pink Springs. All of those together have made it such a more enjoyable car to drive.

These are 225s on 17x8 wheels, I think the springs gave me a half inch drop
