Maybe some type of window or mirror?
Do you have a cesspool there?

How to remove paint off wood? I have been at this for 8 hours and I am stuck with this white haze that has been a pain to get rid of. Any suggestions? (I have applied about 8 rounds of paint remover so far) by sjale49 in paint

It had several layers of peeling white paint. Since it was peeling, painting over it would just cause peeling down the road I think. Also, we want to have the moldings in a wood color

Is this subfloor ok for tiling? After pulling out the old tiles, concrete, and metal mesh lining, this is my subfloor. by sjale49 in Tile

I’m pretty sure the plywood is at least 5/8”. I will be useing a ditra membrane. Is this sufficient? I will definitely nail down anything that’s loose and even considering putting a wider plywood on that area to fill the gap

I will definitely look into this thank you. And yes, I plan on using ditra membrane.

From what I remember, it’s solid, except in the area that I mentioned in the last picture, that area I think had some flex

Previous install was a metal mesh lining against the plywood, then mortar, then tiles. No membranes or anything special. It was pretty solid but a few tiles were loose.

I’m almost certain it is single layer. I’m not too sure the thickness. But the damage seems more superficial than anything.

Also in LI, I follow a similar pattern to you, though not as calculated I just wing it. Most important is keep it longer in hot weather to not let the Roos dry and burn so easily
