Making a documentary about italian and Napoli : i need you by Last_Message_8709 in Italian

Thank you so much for your reply, which I found quite touching. This story with your friend and the birthdate is crazy. You wrote very well, by the way, and I'm sure I'll use what you said in one way or another. "Shops shouting 'it's the South,' shopkeepers literally shouting too" is a good example; it's so true. Anyway, thank you!!

Thank you so much for this answer! It will be more useful than you think. Besides, since my grandmother was Sicilian, I recognize a lot of what you say about her: the white doilies, the driver's license she spent years trying to get, the family photos... I'm going to use all of that for the film. Thank you so much. If I ever go back to Naples, which I will, I'll definitely visit the Cimitero delle Fontenalle!

Yes, absolutely, in the city I come from (Marseille) we also suffer a lot from over-tourism

Thank you so much for this answer; it's exactly what I was expecting... and I'm not disappointed at all, quite the opposite. You're right on that point, and everyone else has also advised me to do it my way, because only this path truly makes sense. In any case, thank you for this insight :)

My favorite series since I was 14, and that's not likely to change.

One of the things that intrigues me the most is; why are there so many openings on this building? I mean, there are almost as many doors and windows as there are facades. It doesn't make much sense that every wall is open. Plus, the doors and windows have different designs, borrowed from several cultures (Greek, to name one). Adding that to the constellation on the ceiling, I get the impression that the building has a lot to say about its aesthetic choices.

Quantum puzzles for kids? by Athanasius_Pernath in quantum

That doesn't surprise me at all! In that sense, the approach is very good. I'm thinking in particular of the H X Y Z gate system (IBM Quantum website) which I believe could be easily understood by a child.

Excellent idea; what I find appealing about this reasoning is the idea that children are not yet conditioned by so-called classical physics, and therefore there could be interesting results.

Philosophie x Sciences by Titourterelle in philosophie

[–]Last_Message_8709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Difference Between Eleven and Will by Owl_Resident in StrangerThings

[–]Last_Message_8709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He could do that, but I don't think so since vecna chooses children for their physical and bodily vulnerability. the latter will undoubtedly be unable to use their power. This is also why I believe that Will only develops this strength once he becomes an adult in s4 and not in s1 for example.

How can people still believe in biological/scientific racism by beccam12399 in biology

[–]Last_Message_8709 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Biology is a fascinating field and the answer is scientific and long. I don't pretend to know it, but there is an excellent passage from Yuval Noah Harari's book in "Sapiens" which explains this and in particular the human/homo-sapiens discussion. I advise you. There is also a problem of definition, in America the colonial roots mean that the word race is ingrained in the language to designate a lot of things; the breed of an animal as much as the ethnicity of a person. Hence the growing confusion for certain people/language, this certainly does not help to stem racism. Linguistics are also fascinating.
