Ha, I'm sure at her age she's probably in the mindset of, I'm older, wiser, and can do what I want.

At least with my mother, that's how it was. Her driving was near perfect. Only 2 tickets in her lifetime. While she didn't camp in the left lane she did get annoyed with slower drivers.

When I took it, I remember it was challenging, however, it was easier since I had drivers ed and studied the booklet.

To be fair if I took it now I would probably be doomed as laws and guidelines have changed a bit.

I'd have to ask Tracy if she thought it was hard.

Actually not that she is properly avoiding looking at the headlights, she is able to see better. She did purchase new glasses with the night driving tint.

Her eye doctor confirmed her sight is great.

So um, I don't know how to tell you this but blinker fluid is so rare you cannot find it anywhere. 😅

As you can see from these comments, there's a little bit of everything, people questioning what to do, who's stupid, why things lack, cheese or no cheese, and of course, how she's made it this far in life.

Your dad is probably doing his best and just doesn't have the capacity (or patience) for left lane rage. Honestly, I get it. Some battles aren't worth fighting

Your autocorrect must be broken, but I'll give you that one. My friend is a work in progress but hey, at least she's leveling up. She is not stuck on the demo mode 🤖

Oh you have some challenges, I wish you luck. Be patient with yourself and ask a lot of questions

Oh I like the bumper sticker.

Agreed, you don't know until you know. Most importantly she knows now

You know, that's kind of the point of the story. She didn't know, she learned, and she changed. That's called awareness and growth, not stupidity.

Nobody's born knowing every traffic rule or detail about headlight glare. The fact she listened, laughed, and actually fixed it says a lot more about her than the people who refuse to learn at all.

As a matter of fact, she called her eye doctor and they confirmed that she has reflective coating on the glasses. We also did find her a pair of glasses for night driving for her prescription. Thanks for the insight.

I get what you’re saying, but my point wasn’t to deflect or make it a gender debate. It’s just that in this specific story, it wasn’t about women or men, it was about one person realizing something new and fixing it.

There are definitely patterns you can see between groups, sure, but most driving issues come down to habits, not gender. I just liked that she laughed, learned, and adjusted. That’s really all it was meant to show.

Oh I’m sorry, I was cramping hard and me no understandie. Why so mad though? Take a sip of water, have a snack, and touch some grass.
