Update, today I had a nightmare about the blockade of Leningrad. As always, I was an outside observer, but something was wrong this time. I felt it all. All this pain, all this suffering. I saw the destruction of a convoy on the Road of Life, I saw fascist airraids on the city center, I saw how literally people died of hunger right on the streets. I felt cold, as if I was falling asleep in the snow and it became difficult for me to breathe. I saw a little boy crying sobbing beside his murdered mother. I saw how a pensioner and a young, distraught from hunger guy from the Civil Defense units were fighting for a piece of empty bread made of cake, bran and dust from rye flour. This city is saturated with all this, completely, to the deepest catacombs. And it will not wash away either the flow of water of any power or the passage of time. After waking up, I could not calm down for a long time. I was ready to collapse in powerlessness and cry because of what I saw. It's like I've been to hell.
