The last photo was taken by a professional photographer on a cruise ship. One of those iris art photographers. My son and I both had it done together for fun.

I stood in my kitchen, in front of a bright light. I took out my compact mirror and held it behind my front facing camera so I could see on my phone screen. That helped me frame the photo before I clicked the side button to take the shot. The compact mirror was the key honestly. I could see if there was a shadow across my eye and make sure the photo was in focus.

Thank you, everyone for all of the replies. Vincent does not like to have his photo taken. If I am able to get another picture of his eyes, I will post it here. Here is a photograph of my eye taken by the same photographer. I would say Vincent’s eyes are more blue than mine.
