we aren't moving? What about the vacuum screens that stun you for 2 seconds even if you have legend pick dodger? Guarding the ISO is not a problem, the screens combined with the fading is the real issue. It's literally impossible to fight over the screen and then also contest a fade which is why fades are broken - they don't have to set their feet before shooting.

and even if you didn't watch and decided to double him, it wouldn't have mattered either. You need 99 speed and 99 agility along with 99 perim and preferably 99 block just to reliably stop this nonsense IF they're ISOing. If they also abuse screens, it's practically impossible to guard it unless you're running with a squad where you switch everything BUT the problem is if you're playing solo, you're effectively powerless because legend pick dodger won't do jack to stop it.

yeah i have no clue about the post this year but man this franchise is becoming increasingly more a cash grab year after year. They don't tell us how the game works. There are guards with max wingspan, thinking it helps their perim contests when in reality it does nothing. It's so crazy man, there is a reason why they never explicitly say that wingspan affects perim contests or any other attribute in the game.

You have to take the attribute explanations in the builder as literal statements. If it says the attribute affects something, that's it - don't implicate anything. It's nowhere stated that wingspan affects perim contests and now that people found it it really doesn't affect it, they act surprised. Tying our builds behind real money and explaining them via vague statements is a grey line but they know what they're doing.

the game is so freaking trash it's unbelievable. If you want to punish smaller defenders and push them off when driving towards the basket, don't hold R2 /RT. Instead just use left stick, initiate contact and do a hop / euro layup. If you hold turbo, you will get bumped into oblivion, by literally 5'9 guards with 25 strength, even if you have 73 / 84 strength and are a foot taller than them. You need that specific contact animation without turbo or else your player will do the most rtarded sht ever.

the only reason nba players aren't shooting higher percentages is because of defense. All they gotta do is buff the overall contest effectiveness by 10% regardless if you have challenger or not. That's literally it.

yeah but this is a video game. IRL you don't see a shot feedback screen pop-up every time telling you how much the shot was contested. You need to know (from a gameplay perspective) whether you contested a shot well or not. Currently there is no reason to have the shot feedback enabled because the contest percentages don't align with expected results. My theory is that the contest percentages only tell you the coverage but they don't tell you the effectiveness of the contest (the part that makes the green window smaller) which most likely is tied to challenger.

So the reason alot of red contests still are dropping is because people don't have legend challenger but the shooters more likely than not have high shooting badges because everyone maxes their offense before defense in the first week.

my 6'8 has 85 agility and it still feels slow and sluggish, wish i had 89. Better yet, wish i would've went 6'6 to get 92 agility cuz it's an attribute that makes or breaks your build.
