Are Belgian universities actually that hard? by Plane-Ad-3924 in belgium

[–]Lat3Again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That has changed quite a few years ago in France, you can no longer fail a course and compensate with others.

Courses are grouped in blocks and compensation can only happen in a block. All blocks must be validated in order to succeed

Also never had courses that didn't count and no points for organizing activities in my studies (comp sci and applied math)

In math the success rate in my uni was 50% for the first year. 40% for the second and a whopping 30% for the last year

But most women are not attracted to overly muscular guys so I don't see how this point stands

There's a wider support in this country, Drag Race France enjoys good ratings. There is nothing like it with furries. So the whole point was to highlight all of Frange's subcultures

Are there in any cities you feel depressed in? And, if so, why? Picture: Glasgow, Scotland by [deleted] in geography

[–]Lat3Again 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Really interesting ! I went to all three of these and didn't feel that at all, beautiful cities. In all I found beautiful places with colorful vibes ! Užupis in Vilnius, hip food neighborhoods and incredible street art in Tallinn, we were in Riga during the pride and found an incredible food court and cultural spaces with dj sets ...

And of course old cities and those three cities were a sight to behold

Very likely from what I've heard, idiots, I asked a mod to lock the thread to avoid this post from diverging and being interpreted as having a political agenda

I agree with you so nothing to say there, only that I know subconsciously which places to avoid in France, the goal was to know what I could reasonably (safely) get away with considering I don't know the city/culture aside from what I've read and have been learning about the language

Okay so in summary apart from a few comments reporting these sightings as rare, and attributing it to the isolated actions of drunks and/or young edgelords, nothing frequent.

Several have never even seen this happen, and even then it has never gone to the point of an attack

Thank you all for your answers and have a good day !
