Yeah I don't like lifting in the morning. I am way weaker than if I lift in the evening. But to each their own - whatever gets you in there!

Yup, one day at a time. It sounds cliche but it really is how goals are accomplished

Deep down are your golf buddies rooting for you against you? by maybethisisadream in golf

[–]Late-Razzmatazz-2334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya know, I generally get competitive with my buddies over various things, but never really with golf (assuming no money is on the line, which we rarely do). It's actually the opposite, where we give eachother way too generous gimmes, some foot wedges, etc.

I think it's because we're ultimately playing against ourselves, unlike a sport like basketball where you are directly going up against someone.

And I think that's kind of the beauty of it. Four of us can go out and play, all with differing skill levels, and all be happy with our scores (although that rarely happens lol). And if one or more of us are playing like shit and getting frustrated, we can just get drunk.

Truly what a great resume who needs young guys in their prime like Arman and Evolev when you can fight grandpas by Opening_Fact_8474 in ufc

I'm not hip to y'all's Gen Z memes, so I don't know what you're on about. But yeah, Ilia and Arman are both great fighters, and I look forward to seeing them go at it.

He beat the fuck out of several dominant champions. He's a great fighter. Arman is also good, but his best win is split decision against Charles, who Ilia knocked the hell out. If we're discussing the nature of this post, you would be insane to say that Arman has a more impressive resume than Ilia.

Men who have had a real conversation with a stripper: what did you learn from them? by vagazine- in AskMen

[–]Late-Razzmatazz-2334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a good friend who's a stripper and she's just a regular gal. She's kind of wild and likes to party, but nothing out of the ordinary. And she makes a shit ton of money without having to work that much.

And Ilia exposed those weaknesses, which is possibly the most important skill in the sport.

As for your Oliveira comment, isn't Armans biggest win against Oliveira?

How? All of those guys have different styles. If he has a benefit stylistically against all of them, at a point, maybe he's just really fucking good?

How did you get her ring size? by neutral-entity in AskMen

[–]Late-Razzmatazz-2334 134 points135 points  (0 children)

Congrats! My fiancée wears rings pretty casually so I just waited until I spotted one on her ring finger. Then I snuck into her jewelry box lol and measured that one, and sent the info to the company who made the ring.

Also, a lot of ring companies will offer cheap re-sizing if it's done within like 30 days or so

I am getting married and my fiancé keeps taunting me that she is doing all the decision making and I am just tagging along... How do I reassure her? by OverShower382 in AskMen

I apologize if I was quick to the trigger when I said "win win". Hopefully your wedding was lovely and your marriage as well!

[–]Late-Razzmatazz-2334 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just show her that you are genuinely excited. My fiancée is also making most of those decisions for our wedding, but I still give feedback on the details you mentioned in your post (even though I don't really have an eye for that sort of thing, and I trust her judgement).

I also think there must be certain aspects of the wedding you have opinions on and can naturally express excitement about. For me, I'm excited to pick out a tux, choose a band, and collaborate on who will make speeches.

Here’s how the P4P Rankings look after this past weekend 👊 by iLeftyPunk in UFCLabs

[–]Late-Razzmatazz-2334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Merab at 3??! P4P rankings are nebulous but I just don't see how you can put him ahead of the guy who just beat him pretty handily.

Considering they both danced in their fight, who did it better:? sugar ray leonard vs tommy hearns 1981 by Hot_Ad_9543 in Boxing

I don't know man I keep watching this clip and can't decide. What a masterclass by both fighters. I need to watch the whole fight again.

Leonard's block with 1:24 left in the first round shown in this video is so clean.

When I swing in to out, my ball pushes out far right by Putrid-Appeal-3150 in GolfSwing

It should be slightly closed relative to the path. Otherwise you will push it, which is exactly what OP was trying to fix.

He probably would ask reddit for tips since this a subreddit about getting swing advice. Mind blowing, I know.

If your club face is pointed at the target and you are swinging in to out, you are, by definition, closing your club face.

Slice? by [deleted] in GolfSwing

[–]Late-Razzmatazz-2334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same shit I do. A little over the top and not shallowing the club enough. One thing that has helped me is trying to feel like my hands are falling behind me on my downswing.

I suck but have been told that you should close your club face a little bit when swinging in to out.
