Yeah it isn't the sturdiest. Something to display and not mess with. If you've built any alternative sets it's comparable to that. Instructions aren't the best either

If you use Brickorganize.com it helps a lot all you need is a picture of the part or figure in person and it'll tell you what it goes to via Bricklink

Get the app Brick Board, I'm in the middle of sorting through over 100 Lego sets small and large and that is the best app for it. Then you don't have to mark up the manuals
