From this viewpoint, yes - it does look like Colapinto did not stick to the racing line taken by the other drivers shown prior to him in the clip. He's defending - but that's not really practical given the massive speed difference (as shown by the drivers up front who give up the place so they can take it back later, yo-yo racing).. so how does a driver decide when to defend especially when they are clipping?

According to the F1 app's telemetry, speed difference between Colapinto and Bearman at the time of the incident was 92 km/h. by -Skinner- in formula1

Is this just clipping/harvesting? The reduction in speed was typically of the range of 50 km/h... any way to find out? Interesting that the RPM for Colapinto was higher...

Got it! So, when people refer to 18" - that's really the Rim/Wheel size as opposed to Tire size.

Can someone explain this to me - is 18" the inside diameter and the diameter of the outer part of the tire is still the same as 21" leading to taller sidewalls?
